Cisterna di Latina – Health, summit in ASL general management
Yesterday morning, the mayors of Cisterna, Cori and Rocca Massima went to the general management of the Latina ASL to meet with director Michele Caporossi.
The focus of the meeting was on health and care services in the vast area that falls within the three neighboring municipalities.
A question that Eleonora Della Penna, Tommaso Conti and Angelo Tomei returned to pose directly to the head of the Local Health Authority to keep the focus on defending and strengthening health care in the district.
In particular, this morning the mayors and Director Caporossi discussed the Cori Community Hospital, a key facility for users in the three municipalities and beyond.
"It was a fruitful meeting," commented Della Penna, Conti and Tomei, "in which we once again found all of Dr. Caporossi's willingness to place the utmost attention on the health services provided in our municipalities. In this regard, we were keen to reiterate in agreement the centrality of the role played by the Cori Community Hospital in the district health care landscape also because of the service it offers to many citizens of Cisterna and Rocca Massima. A facility that must be safeguarded and strengthened," the three mayors conclude, "to guarantee the rights of all citizens residing in our territory.".
"The meeting," added Mayor Della Penna – also served to reiterate the importance, as far as Cisterna is concerned, of the first aid point and the UCPCI located in the Valentine district. These are two important health facilities that are an essential reference point for our city that must be safeguarded and strengthened as part of the reorganization plan of the Lazio Region."
